My name is Maria Del Mar. I’m a Puerto Rico native living in Orange County, California. I’ve been living in the US mainland since July 2014. I moved because of a job opportunity that offered relocation as part of the deal. So flash-forward to 2017 and I’ve lived in three different states, traveled to China for seminars, I’ve driven across the US – from New Jersey to California – and have made the most out of all the opportunities I’ve encountered. I live everyday thinking I want to be better than the day before. Moving with my husband and my son/dog, Precioso, has been the greatest adventure and accepting that job opportunity was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
But, I believe life is about growing and evolving; in my mind, I’ve always wanted more out of life. For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be financially free and after getting my hands (or ears – I’m an Audible junkie) on books like “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” from Robert Kiyosaki, “Think and Grow Rich” from Napoleon Hill and various other books by Tony Robbins and Tony Hsieh I knew it was attainable. I had yearned for a life full of endless possibilities and opportunities; a life where I was at the driver’s seat so, on March 2017 I made a commitment to myself to be free and wealthy. Whatever that meant. The creation of this blog comes from my insatiable pursuit of freedom and wealth.
“I am not defined by my present conditions I am defined by my life’s goals.”
When I say, I want to be free and wealthy I don’t mean I want to only think or focus on the material aspects of what… let’s say, financial freedom can bring into one’s life. Sure that’s awesome! It’s probably on everyone’s list, right? I know it was on mine for a long time. But I also want to focus on being free from unsustainable beliefs, free of fears that cripple and limit our progress in life. Because in achieving this freedom we become wealthy. One is not present without the other.
I guess that brings me to the purpose of this blog which is to provide you with the tools needed to be successful not just in business but in life. We all have dreams and goals we want to accomplish but we will only go as far as we want. A dear friend once told me “the sky’s the limit” I was sixteen at the time so I remember saying there really is no sky and he replied “exactly, there are no limits”.
I challenge you to review the content of this blog and give it a try. You might just find what you are looking for. And if you don’t, let me know. Feel free to reach out.
People say “no risk, no reward” fortunately when you have the right mindset, the tools and the information you can surpass anything and start calling obstacles, life lessons. So, the only risk will be for you to be honest with yourself and decide how many hours you are willing to invest in your dreams and goals. And, the rewards, well, again that’s up to you too. What’s your dream? What’s your goal? Where do you want to go next? Think about these answers, they just might surprise you. 🙂
“Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who believed that something inside of them was superior to circumstance.”
